Amateur photographer Francis Minien of the UK was presented with the 7th Annual Photography Masters Cup Honorable Mention in the category of Aerial at a prestigious Nomination & Winners Photoshow webcast Saturday, May 3, 2014.
Great news for Francis Minien Photography, not only was he nominated as a finalist for the Fine Art Category in the 2013 Awards, but it was recently announced that he won the Category.
Big celebration on all fronts and a big thank you to all those who supported the exhibition.

After 6 months of collaboration with good friend Adam Wootton, CEO of Zum Fun, Minien Snaps has hit the digital shelves.
Good news! Featuring this month in the DC Design House is a photograph from the series Where Did My Toys Go?
This is a result of a collaboration with designer Regan Billingsley who is one of the 21 designers who have been selected for the 2013 DC Design House.
The house is open for a month and is a fundraiser for the Children’s National Medical Center.
There is a philanthropic side to Francis Minien’s photography where for the last 5 years he has been working with Charities, NGOâ€™s and other Non Profits around the world.
As an outlet to promote the work of these non profits he has set up a new organisation called I Wanted To Help, where all projects are on exhibition.
Great news came recently found out from PhotoPhilanthropy that my submission into the 2012 Activist Awards had been nominated for an Activist Award, a great honour!

Ground Arts & Art Start are dedicated to empowerment of children through art. Ground.Arts is collaborating with the Art Start family of children in homeless shelter programs.Francis Minien along with other Artists will be interpreting what “Home” Means to them in collaboration with Childrens work from the program.
An exhibition to raise awareness and funds for both Organisations will be held March 7th – 11th.

The New York Photo Festival is proud yet humbled to present SANDY: Devastation, Document, Drive, a vast visual document of Superstorm Sandy created by photographers of all backgrounds.
