"If everybody had an ocean, across the U-S-A" wrote Brian Wilson in 1963, I wonder if he had any idea of what was to come in the growth and global phenomenon that is now surfing? An industry and culture rolled into one that has spawned many sub cultures and has people catching waves all over the world from the Big waves of Hawaii to the remote islands of Indonesia, to the Ice waters of Alaska to 7,000 km coastline of India.
Here is a recent photo from one of the many trips I have been taking exploring the Surfing world of India, not a country one would associate with the sport, but it is becoming and ever increasingly popular sport with and abundance of options. Its a culture growing but in its fledgling stages but growing quickly as with many things in India.
